God's Got it Together

So, today I am thankful that God's "got it together." When all my attempts to try to be a more organized mom who structures the day around a thought out routine fail, like starting at 7am, and all my attempts to do things for my family that I would love to do fail and I feel like I'm never going to be able to JUST GET IT TOGETHER, God's always got it together. His plans never fail. Nothing surprises Him. He's never taken off guard. He knows perfectly what needs to happen every moment, of every day, in the life of every person on the planet, and that is just what happens....without fail.

About Me

Hello! I am a woman who loves relationships...especially deep ones. I love talking for hours over a cup of coffee or some ice cream. I love being outside, reading a good novel, and if I were to be honest...I love getting into a good argument. For more than 5 years now, I have been married to the most tender, humble, faithful man I've known, and we have one very active, friendly, fun toddler. I am thankful to be living my dream of spending my days taking care of our son, helping my husband, caring for our home, visiting with friends, and learning how to rest well. I also work a few days a month as a registered nurse at Children's Hospital...and I love that I am able to do that to keep my foot in the "work outside the home world" while also helping out my family financially just a little bit. We are members of Christ Community Church, PCA, a new church plant in Helena, AL. To say that we are grateful for our church family would be the understatement of the year! We are so blessed to be a part of a community where we are loved and accepted as we are because of the Gospel, yet pushed lovingly toward growth as we share life with our church family. We are so undeserving of all of these gifts, and so very blessed.
